Jira Integration
The Jira integration in Casebase allows you to display related Jira tickets directly in the Project Details tab of a use case — giving you clear traceability from strategy to execution.
Note:
Currently, only Jira Data Center (self-hosted) is supported. Jira Cloud is not supported at this time, but will follow soon. For more info, contact the customer support.
🔧 Setup in 4 Easy Steps
1. Navigate to Integration Settings
-
-
-
Open your workspace in Casebase
-
Go to Settings → Integrations → Jira
-
-
2. Enter Jira Connection Details
You’ll find three input fields to configure the integration:
a) Jira Project URL
- Enter the base URL of your Jira server (e.g.,
https://jira.yourcompany.com/
) - This URL is used to connect to your Jira projects and issues.
b) User Mail
- Provide the email address of a Jira user account that has admin rights or at least permission to access the list of projects and issues.
c) Jira API Token
- Create a Personal Access Token in your Jira account and paste it here.
- Make sure the token has a valid expiration period. If it expires, you’ll need to regenerate it and update it in Casebase.

d) Save
- Click Save to validate and activate the connection. Casebase will automatically verify if the credentials are correct and if access to Jira can be established.

4. View Jira Tickets in Use Case
- Once the integration is active, related Jira tickets will automatically be shown in the Project Details tab of a use case — providing full visibility into progress and execution.
